The United Way of Lavrence County Women’s Conference Committee is hard at work finalizing the plans for the 14* Annual Lawrence County Women’s Conference, The event is set for Saturday, August 21 at the Villa Banquet Center 2500 New Butler Road, New Castle, PA.
Our keynote speaker for the event will be Maggie Feinstein’s, LPC, Director, 10.27 Healing Partnership. Maggie Feinstein’s work included families and victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting in Pittsburgh, Our conference will focus on “Trauma” and the physiological effects of Covid 19. We realize that everyone has been impacted by this pandemic, and we want to provide information that can help renew, refocus, and rebuild our lives as we forge ahead into the future. The conference will address health issues for woman of all ages and our speaker is
Kimberly A. Leonard CRNP, Regional Director of Magee WHSL of UPMC Northern Pod. The event will feature woman speakers on various topics such as; fashion, makeup, refreshing our closets, childhood trauma, art therapy and more. The cost is $25 per person that includes light breakfast, buffet lunch, and $10 voucher to purchase items from participating woman owned businesses at the event.
