The Cascade Park Swimming Pool has been a stable mainstay in our community for decades. Funds were not available to rehabilitate the facility even though the structure is sound and set for renovations. United Way has been working with various corporations and legislatures to raise funds to bring the swimming pool back to life. Children in our community are limited in recreation activities due to transportation and lack of structured managed facilities. The community came together to raise awareness by signing petitions, donating funds and providing professional services.
